(St. Louis, MO) Yesterday August 16th, 2007, Ranken Technical College announced that the College will be working with search-engine optimization and Internet marketing firm The Net Impact, a division of Unidev, to optimize and market their online presence.

The College, which launched its newly redesigned website in August of 2006, will first focus increasing organic search results and site accessibility and will then implement a comprehensive web-advertising campaign. Ranken spokesperson Susan Flayer said “Ranken has a wide variety of technical expertise and training to offer potential students. In St. Louis and the surrounding area that’s extremely well known, but as our campus continues to grow and we add new programs like High Performance Racing Technology and now student dormitories, our audience is increasing. This expanded audience may not be as familiar with the excellent education Ranken offers. By optimizing our site we can make sure that students who are looking for the best technical education in any of our five major divisions will be able to find us, quickly and easily.”

Ranken’s new website has been very popular with both current and potential students and fits in with the College’s overall online presence, which includes an interactive event calendar, student blog and active MySpace profile. The college also plans to add video podcasting to its online offerings when the current wave of optimization is complete.
